Our Gynecological Services

Below is an overview of the gynecological care we offer at Prenatal Well, along with brief explanations of what each service includes so you know what to expect.

Preventative Care & Routine Exams

Regular check-ups help us catch small concerns early, support your long-term health, and give you space to ask questions in a safe, supportive environment.

Annual wellness exams

A yearly visit to review your overall health, menstrual cycles, family history, and screening needs. We check in on physical, emotional, and reproductive wellbeing.

Breast exams

A hands-on exam to check for lumps, changes, or areas of concern in the breast tissue and underarm area. We discuss when imaging, like a mammogram, may be recommended.

Pelvic exams

A gentle exam of the pelvic organs (vagina, cervix, uterus, and ovaries) to look for signs of infection, growths, or other changes. We explain each step before we begin.

Pap tests

A screening test that collects a small sample of cells from the cervix to look for early changes that could lead to cervical cancer. This helps us detect and treat issues early.

STI testing

Confidential testing for sexually transmitted infections, done without judgment. We also review prevention strategies and treatment options if anything is positive.

Family Planning & Contraception

Whether you are trying to prevent pregnancy, plan for a future pregnancy, or are unsure what you want yet, we provide clear information and support, not pressure.

Contraceptive counseling

A conversation about your goals, medical history, and preferences. We review options— including pills, IUDs, implants, and more—and help you choose what fits best.

IUD & oral contraceptives

Placement and follow-up care for intrauterine devices (IUDs) and prescriptions for birth control pills. We discuss how they work, possible side effects, and what to watch for.

Preconception & fertility counseling

Support for individuals or couples who are thinking about pregnancy. We review your health, medications, and history to help you prepare your body and understand your fertility options.

Diagnosis & Treatment

If something doesn’t feel normal—pain, bleeding, discharge, or changes in your cycle—we take your concerns seriously and work with you to find answers and relief.

Menstrual problems

Evaluation and treatment for heavy, painful, irregular, or missed periods. We explore causes such as fibroids, hormonal changes, or other conditions and discuss tailored treatment options.

Infections

Diagnosis and treatment of vaginal infections, urinary tract infections, and sexually transmitted infections. We focus on both symptom relief and preventing recurrence.

Pain

Assessment of pelvic or gynecologic pain, including pain during periods or intercourse. We look for underlying causes like endometriosis or fibroids and work toward a care plan that fits your life.

Menopause & perimenopause

Support through the transition before and after your periods stop, including hot flashes, sleep changes, mood shifts, and vaginal dryness. We discuss lifestyle approaches and medical treatments that can help you feel more like yourself.

Your concerns are valid. If something feels off—or you’re simply not sure if what you’re experiencing is “normal”—you do not have to figure it out alone. Our team is here to listen and walk with you to the next step.
